In my experience, I have found that a lot of people usually know what to do and have the ability to do it. The thing that they lack is the will and determination to commit and act on this ability. There is nothing more special about me then there is you. I feel we are all born with the ability to succeed. Its just somewhere along the way we experienced something that created fear and doubt in ourselves and our ability. We must reconnect with that confident person we have inside of us. The only difference between successful people and unsuccessful people is that successful people don't quit until their goal is reached. They even use failure as motivation. They understand that each failure brings them one step closer to finding their formula for success. Make this month the month you conquer your fear and commit to your goal. If you stay persistent in the face of struggle you will experience success unimagined.

At times I too find myself waiting for the perfect time to start a certain goal or activity. I have found that so much of my life was wasted on waiting. You may find yourself waiting your entire life for the right time. In reality the right time is now! I believe perfection is an individual idea or belief. I always meet potential clients who want to book a session with me weeks or months in advance.

This is not because they want to ensure a spot in my schedule. Instead it is to use this lag time to prepare, or wait till after the holidays, their birthday party or trip to Vegas. These people will usually find some new project or holiday following right after. Needless to say, these people rarely find themselves on my client list. Their spot is usually taken by the person ready for change today. Life will always give you opportunities to party or celebrate. Not every problem can be foreseen or solved ahead of time. All you can do is take action today and deal with life’s situations as they arise. Try living life this way and I’m sure you will find yourself one step ahead and in the right place at the right time.

Success with a fitness goal or any goal in life isn't achieved through one singular act or luck. It is achieved through continuous behavior in line with your envisioned outcome. It is said that it takes up to 21 consecutive days of doing a new pattern to make it a habit. It takes 300 repetitions to create muscle memory, and it takes 3000 repetitions to completely instill a new behavior.

If you aren't pleased with your current behaviors, replace them with better ones. This month remember, you have the power to choose what you do every day. Be diligent in your daily activities toward achieving your goals. In time these acts will become second nature. They will no longer be what and who you want to be, they will become who you are.

"There are few limitations in life and most of them
come from the inside, not the outside"


I have clients come to me quite often with excuses as to why their goal is so hard to attain or achieve. These excuses sometimes come from outside sources such as their family, friends, or job. ("I don't have the time to... ",etc) Let's look at this from a different perspective. Your family, friends and your work place need the BEST of you that you can provide. In order for you to be at your best, you should be healthy, strong and happy. So I offer that the first step on your “road to reinvention” should be re-evaluating YOUR position on your priority list. An excuse that put's another's need above your own (when it comes to health and happiness) is not acceptable. You are responsible for the choices you make. No one else can be held accountable for the decisions you make.

Furthermore, if you put your health, strength and happiness first on the list, then the version of yourself you present to your family, friends and at your work place is the BEST version you have to offer. This is the person you were meant to be and the person you should want to offer to other's not a tired, listless, unhealthy and unhappy version! This month if you find yourself ‘stuck' in a place you don't enjoy, ask yourself "why?" and whatever reasons (excuses) you come up with--.remove them! If you begin to list solutions instead of obstacles you will be amazed at how empowered you feel. Remember YOU are in control, you have the power to change direction and though family, friends and work can distract you, they can't stop you from living your best life, only YOU have that power! The power lies within you! Remember, Visualize, Believe, and Achieve!
